This role is for an investment firm's Austin-based engineering team, that is building cloud-based web apps to automate their investment processes. You will be the lead engineer, designing the framework and workflow patterns that will serve as the way the firm approaches engineering. This team also build the firms data ingestion pipelines and ETL tools.

Requirements

• Engineering background in a lead, principal, or staff capacity
• Strong Python skills, with experience building web apps at large-scale
• Background in building data solutions, with a focus on formatting, ETL, and data quality
• AWS (Lambda) skills are highly-desired
• Background in containerization is a plus
• Experience with Cloudformation will be helpful
