We are building a world class document management system which will power the next generation of large language modeling applications.

We are looking for an AI Engineer for to manage this work inside the AI Platform group. The hire will be responsible for designing, expanding and optimizing the architecture of this nascent platform. The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer who enjoys building and supporting high performance data systems from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and translate business problems into working solutions.
• Create and maintain our market and alternative data document management system.
• Design and build a pipeline for document ingestion across a wide set of document types.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability and availability, etc.
• Work with stakeholders from both the business and technology organizations to assist and support with document processing related issues.
• Build, test and deploy these AI products to solve specific problems. In addition, solutions should be generalizable to enhance the AI team's solution set.
• Leveraging NLP techniques, including LLMs to assist in processing of documents.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years' working experience with Masters or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other technical degree.
• Experience with Python and data engineering tools (eg Airflow)
• Experience with Cloud (AWS, GCP); experience with Vector DBs a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that can work independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent self-management and problem-solving skills, able to handle several projects with different priorities at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
