NLP Engineer

We are building a world class document management system which will power the next generation of large language modeling applications.

We are looking for a NLP engineer to manage this work inside the Data Platform group. The hire will be responsible for designing, expanding and optimizing the architecture of this nascent platform. The ideal candidate is an experienced data engineer who enjoys building and supporting high performance data systems from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain an optimal document management system.
• Design and build a pipeline for document cleaning and ingestion across a wide set of document types.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability and availability, etc.
• Work with stakeholders from both the business and technology organizations to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Create data and analytical tools for internal customers that assist them in building and optimizing our data organization into an innovative industry leader.
• Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ working experience with Masters or Bachelor degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with Python and data engineering tools (e.g. Argo or Airflow).
• Experience with databases e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, Redshift, BigQuery, SnowFlake.
• Experience with Cloud : AWS, GCP
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Can work independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Can handle several projects with different priorities at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent self-management and problem-solving skills.
