Deep Learning/Cybersecurity Engineer

This role is for an early-stage start-up in the cybersecurity space, that builds automated solutions for cyber-physical systems (CPS). They do a lot of work for the DoD, DARPA, and DHS, in areas like missile defense and microchip/digital microelectronics. Their products apply deep learning methods to areas like compiler develpment FPGA, Hardware, design verification, and embedded systems.

About the Job

You will be a key researcher who specializes in areas of Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, particularly in the cybersecurity domain. Your work will be crucial in building cutting-edge protective solutions for devices and microchips, for the intelligence community.

Responsibilities: 

• Applied research in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence
• Finding, curating, and cleaning abstract data sources that are unique to the cybersecurity domain
• Integrating cloud and on-prem infrastructure in an optimal manner for AI models
  
• Working alongside software engineers to build workable Machine Learning models 
  

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship (the client will apply you for active SECRET clearance)
  
• BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or adjacent area
• Hands-on experience in Python, C, or C++ 
• Expererience with hardware development (Verilog, VHDL, etc...) is a plus
• Experience with high-level synthesis is a plus
